20 Days / 20 Photos – Day 11

Posted on March 16, 2015 by Jack Schaller

Today’s post is brought to you by the theme “A Pop of Color.”

I was pretty busy at work today (I do still work for a living, when I can’t avoid it), so I did not get out to shoot anything new. The view from my office window is pretty monochromatic and uninspiring on these last few days of winter. I am fervently hoping to see “pops of color” appear in my yard over the next few weeks, to brighten the landscape and lift my spirits. For now I need to go into the archives to retrieve a couple of  photos that I think of as representing a “pop of color.” I think both of these capture the intent of today’s theme, popping color against a monochromatic background.
