Sailing from Dublin to Dover is a multi-day affair, so we are at sea all day today, arriving in Dover (and Canterbury) on Saturday morning.
So what does one do all day while sailing the English Channel?
Enjoyed a full breakfast in the ship’s excellent restaurant.
Attended a lecture on the history of the Vikings.
Had a lunch of gelato and cookies.
Took a soak in the outside hot tub on the 7th deck, watching the seagulls try to swoop in and steal lunch from those dining outside by the infinity pool.
Will be attending a presentation on the famous Bayeux Tapestry, which has been reproduced on the walls lining the 8 floors of the inside stairway.
will attend a lecture on the potential future of the “Special Relationship” between the U.S. and the U.K. by the ship’s resident professor.
Then on to dinner and after dinner drinks in the lounge.g
It’s not easy being at sea all day! ☺️
